For over 30 years, Brigham City Community Hospital has supported the medical needs of the residents of Brigham City and nearby towns. Our modern 49-bed healthcare facility has twice been recognized by the national HCIA Mercer study as one of the "100 Top hospitals" in the nation for excellence in outstanding patient care and overall operations.

In August of 2007 Brigham City Community Hospital earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of ApprovalTM for demonstrating full compliance with the organization’s national standards for health care quality and safety. The hospital emerged from an intense, two and a-half day survey without a single recommendation for improvement (RFI). This is an exceptional accomplishment when compared to other healthcare facilities nationwide. An RFI-free accreditation places Brigham City Community Hospital among a very elite group of U.S. facilities.

Brigham City Community Hospital is committed to ensuring the quality and safety of the care delivered to patients every day, which includes conscientious, hospital-wide management of medications. As a result, the hospital was also recently presented with the “Cheers Award” by the Institute for Safe Medication Practices. This organization recognizes health care facilities that have set a superlative standard of excellence in the prevention of medication errors.

The 2007 Employee Satisfaction Survey showed some impressive results. Brigham City Community Hospital ranked the highest in the Mountain Division in employee participation and 7th in employee participation out of 174 hospitals in the entire HCA Corporation. 95% of the employees participated in the survey with a 93% satisfaction rate.
